HELU at the 2026 Ditzinger Lebenslauf
23 runners racking up kilometres at the Ditzingen charity run for a good cause
Last Sunday in the Southwest German city of Ditzingen, HELU charged ahead for a good cause. At the 28th Ditzinger Lebenslauf, around 2,000 runners took to the starting line, including HELU's team of 23. For this charity event, the focus wasn't on who had the quickest time, but rather on each and every kilometre travelled. The donations that were collected will benefit the Mukoviszidose e.V. (cystic fibrosis charitable organisation) and supports those afflicted by this metabolic disease and their families.
For the HELU team, this run was a great opportunity to combine athletics with social engagement. Whether walking or running, all participants contributed to raising awareness for cystic fibrosis and fun important projects ranging from medical and therapeutic support to medical research.
"Every year, the Ditzinger Lebenslauf exemplifies anew how much we can achieve together," says Marc Luksch, Managing Director of HELU. "As a family-owned company with deep ties to the region, it is important for us to take responsibility for our employees, for the surrounding area, and for people who need support. This is why we are pleased that, once again, so many enthusiastic colleagues took part this year."
Headquartered only a few kilometres away, the company has been participating in the Ditzinger Lebenslauf for many years. The event is a great fit for HELU. It encompasses team spirit, perseverance, and solidarity—values that extend beyond the track and affect our daily work. At the same time, participating as a team strengthens connections between colleagues and serves as a symbol for regional unity.
HELU would like to thank all runners, supporters, and organisers that made the 2026 Ditzinger Lebenslauf once again such an amazing experience!
