HELU expands its portfolio with the new HELUEVENT Cat 7 PUR BROADCAST FLEX cable, a robust and flexible data cable designed to meet the requirements of event and media technology. The Cat 7 cable was specifically designed for indoor and outdoor moving applications and is also suited for cabling LED panels and walls, network connections, audio networks like Ethersound, digital audio, or AoIP (audio over IP).

In the event and media industry, cables are constantly installed and uninstalled, moved, wound, and subjected to ever-changing environmental conditions. This is precisely where the HELUEVENT Cat 7 PUR BROADCAST FLEX is at its strongest. Its soft, PUR outer sheath provides for comfortable haptics and makes daily handling easy. At the same time, the cable is more flexible than traditional office data cables, making it highly suited for the particular requirements of moving applications.

The robust PUR sheath means the cable is also resistant to external factors and allows the cable to be used both indoor and outdoors. Furthermore, the cable is UV resistant enabling its use out in the open. It can withstand a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C with regular movement, and -40°C to +80°C in static installations. With regular movement, its bending radius is 8 x diameter and 4 x diameter in static installations.
