URKUNDE member of the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF)
URKUNDE is a new member of UNEF, the leading association of the solar photovoltaic sector in Spain.
URKUNDE has recently joined the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF) as a member. UNEF is the leading association of the solar photovoltaic sector in Spain, with more than 800 member companies; it is the main forum for meeting, networking, and interest representation at the national level within the photovoltaic sector.
The Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF) was founded in 2012 following the merger of three national-level photovoltaic associations: the Photovoltaic Business Association (AEF), the Photovoltaic Section of the Renewable Energy Producers Association (APPA Fotovoltaica), and the Photovoltaic Industry Association (ASIF). With a membership of more than 800 companies—representing approximately 90% of the sector’s activity in Spain—UNEF serves as the voice of virtually the entire photovoltaic industry, including producers, installers, engineering firms, manufacturers, distributors, and, in general, any other entity related to the photovoltaic sector in Spain.
The main objectives of the association are:
to defend and promote regulatory stability and legal certainty.
to act as the representative of the Spanish photovoltaic sector at local, national, and international levels, defending the interests of its members in all areas of development.
to drive industrialization, strengthen and empower the sector in terms of job creation and economic growth, and promote technological innovation.
to serve as a meeting point for knowledge exchange and networking within the photovoltaic sector, identifying needs and fostering growth, as well as connecting companies offering services and products with potential clients.
to promote the development of self-consumption.
to raise public awareness and inform society about the benefits of electricity generation from photovoltaic solar energy.
to support the internationalization of the sector through joint actions with European and international associations in the renewable and photovoltaic fields.
